Summary[]
Yuki's abusive and isolated childhood at the hands of Akito and his parents are continually being explored. As he hits rock bottom, he meets a young Tohru Honda, and the meeting with her inspires Yuki to keep living. In the present, Yuki tells his true feelings towards Tohru to Kakeru: that she had been like a "mother-figure" to him.
